Verizon hangs in there after months and months and finally works out a deal to buy Yahoo at the small price of $4.8 Billion! What isn’t evident are the upcoming changes for Yahoo and how that will impact search. We have discounted Yahoo in search for years since it brings such a small percentage of traffic to websites. The small amount of traffic is small but yet we always make sure to include it in all campaigns to make sure a client is never lost.
Will Verizon change the direction of Yahoo and help them become the search engine power house they used to be?
