If you currently have a website with pop up messages or email opt ins you will need to disable that pop up! Google announced that mobile search is very important and as you may have noticed trying to click the X on a pop up in mobile can be very difficult and it isn’t a nice user experience. Remember Google wants to make sure the user experiences are the best they can be and with the shift to mobile we are going to see a lot of changes.
Google announced if you have a Pop up on your website after January you will see a devaluation of your website. So we have a few months to get the pop ups removed. I see a lot of competitors using the email opt ins so let’s hope they keep up with their Google news.
